Heba or Tian? Marcus would choose the planet of Heba, even though he's a cyborg he decides to become "human" instead of accepting that he's half terminator.
Acquired Ability: Marcus has mostly human abilities already due to him being half human, but he also would gain back his double strength or his unnatural healing ability to regrow his heart in case of extreme damage.
Personality Traits:
In reality, Marcus was a criminal on death row when he was executed by “lethal injection” due to crimes of killing a cop for beating on his brother spending most of his life in prison. Everything he believed about himself in prison in his life and on the last days of his life, he thought he was worthless and nothing mattered more than people’s own harsh opinions on him as a “monster. However he had an unusual trait about him: Most criminals would be willing to defend themselves, giving excuses. Marcus believed his death was just and the value of other humans had higher worth than himself.
He was ready and willing to give up everything to die. He thought he might make people happy to get rid of him as he gave his body up to Cyberdyne System’s “Project Angel”, run by Dr. Serena Kogan.
However, there is more to Marcus instead of a monster who is seen as a killer and nothing more. He had no final words to say on his execution. His own eyes reveal a man looking for another chance to live out his life in the right direction.
When someone meets Marcus, they notice his determination. He is an extremely hard worker and will push through any sense of obstacles to get to a goal. Like they say “This man can move mountains” when he pushes hard enough. He is extremely gutsy and will go above and beyond the call of duty to show his worth to someone. However, his emotions are hurt easily and usually go to an extreme at anything relating to his past especially relating to memories of his dead brother.
However, Marcus is extremely loyal to a fault and does not take betrayal well. He “takes no shit” when it comes to protecting his loved ones and allies. He’s gone to lengths such as stabbing a guy in the knee, being the first man in line to save John Connor and give up his own heart and protecting Blair with a wooden board.
When Marcus takes a leadership position in Final Battle, he is promoted when John Connor is away. He changes for the better as he’s able to lead the Resistance as a high commanding officer to help defeat a common enemy. John Connor’s respect for the common man makes Marcus, not a terminator to him but more than that. Someone who can be trusted for who he is and not for his past mistakes.

Expanded from Terminator Salvation: The movie instead of an AU where Marcus survives his heart transplant. Marcus takes a much larger role in this comic considering John is busy fighting the war against the machines. Marcus is reactivated by Skynet gave a mission of actually telling John and the Human Resistance that there is a new threat named Parnell and he is now the main threat instead of both of them. Marcus has to convince John and company that he didn’t come back evil and that he isn’t insane to tell them Skynet wants John’s help. After John talks with his friend for a while, they agreed it was for the best that John does this for the greater good. So John follows Marcus while Parnell agrees to help Dr. Kogan and Skynet in creating murderous terminators by connecting his brain into Skynet’s computers. Parnell gets too power hungry and wants all of Skynet’s powers forcing John to help Skynet and Dr. Kogan in trying to kill !Skynet Parnell before he takes all of Skynet’s servers away. John’s essence is transferred into a t-800 and he fights Parnell and the bloody terminators while Marcus leads the human resistance.
History:
*Marcus kisses Dr. Kogan and signs away his executed body to Cyberdyne Systems for a kiss.
*Marcus dies in prison for the first time.
*Marcus’s body is carted off and made into a unique mix of terminator and human, a Terminator Hybrid and Infiltration unit. Project Angel was the project’s name run by Dr. Serena Kogan. Project Angel was originally used as a project where humanity could be expanded into something more but then Cyberdyne bought the project, using terminators like Marcus as military weapons instead and eventually Skynet took over.
*15 years later- As Marcus wakes up from being revived, he finds out he’s alone and in a hellish like the landscape of destroyed Los Angeles in 2018.
*Marcus runs into a teen named Kyle Reese and Star, who by coincidence are the only survivors of the la branch of the Human Resistance.
*Marcus shows Kyle how to handle a weapon after Kyle Reese literally points it at him.
*Marcus refuses to listen to go back to Skynet territory after Kyle, Star begs him not to go, but reluctantly accepts only to get captured by a giant terminator.
*Marcus finds a woman named Blair Williams that helps him find the Human Resistance after he falls in love with her. They enjoy each other's company while sitting around a fire. After fighting off survivors, they go find the Human Resistance HQ.
*Marcus steps on landmines meant for war machines and he blows up, revealing his terminator side.
*As he is revealed to be a terminator, he is strapped on a missile silo where he is shot at by Barnes and his girlfriend, Blair. He has feelings of betrayal there.
*Blair helps Marcus to escape being trapped and John and the Resistance follow. Blair is captured and interrogated and Marcus volunteers to go find Kyle Reese
*John is wary at first but allows him to find him with help. John goes with Marcus and Marcus goes to rescue Kyle and Star from the facility but ends up fighting a T-800. Marcus gets knocked out and John gets a pole shoved in his heart and survives. John revives Marcus with electricity and Marcus beats the T-800 with Kyle and John’s help.
*John is rescued along with Marcus.
*Marcus gives away his second chance and gives his human heart up
*Marcus dies for the second time
*Marcus’s third chance begins when Skynet needs John’s help against the forces of Parnell and the bloody terminators.
*Skynet revives Marcus and Marcus’s heart can grow back via regeneration and his backup systems.
*Marcus is alive again and leads the Resistance while John does what he needs to do to fight Parnell’s bloody machines.
*Skynet and John make peace and end the war.

Marcus places most his life on Freedom considering most of his life, he's seen either fighting for his life against a wrongful crime he didn't mean to commit in a past life, or fighting for a Resistance that wants nothing to do with machinekind. Only four people respect him for him for who he is.
Marcus has had to fight for his life through two deaths.
His first death was by execution in prison, second death is by donating his first heart to John Connor and his resurrection he had to fight for freedom for the side of good under John Connor's command.
Not only that, Marcus had a chip implanted by Skynet in his head that controls his every thought and move. Freedom was when he ripped that chip singlehandly out of his head.
Describe a formative moment in your character's life, something that changed them and defined who they are as a person.
-Brother's death- Marcus tried to save him in a past life at the age of 17 after a botched carjacking when a police officer killed him. Marcus killed that officer, ending up in death row.
-Giving up his heart for John Connor-
Marcus finds a new respect for life after determining John Connor is more important than him in living another life. After determining his own life was spent doing nothing but bad, he wanted another to live a life better than him.

Marcus finds that admirable trait in John Connor, a man similar to him in traits and shares a deep respect for on the table. Marcus sees himself as more than a machine and in John Connor's eyes, he sees himself as a machine. It's like they can place each other in each other's shoes.

Marcus's life has been full of tragic events from his brother's death, to his first death in prison. He wakes up in a world that is unlike his own and feels he had been thrown into hell when he wakes up.
From there, he learns to survive with two teenagers, Kyle Reese and Star who teach him about survival skills, hope and the Resistance to survive in the long run. All of them learn to be a form of "family.". When Marcus loses hope of finding the two teens after they become captured, he finds new hope in Blair, a resistance pilot lost from a attack from a terminator and learns about John Connor for the first time.
As soon as he steps on a mine, he is strapped up into a missile silo and the woman, Blair betrays the Resistance to protect Marcus after falling in love with him and his strength. Both escape away from John Connor and the Resistance to fight thier way away until Marcus finds a way to make up for things by finding Kyle Reese with John Connor's reluctant help.
Both go to find Kyle Reese and John Connor gets damaged. Marcus is angry destroying the T-800 and saves Connor by donating his heart to Connor.
Connor lives but Marcus "dies" supposedly.
Only he doesn't die in Final Battle as Connor finds himself fighting another killer named Thomas Parnall working for Skynet and Doctor Kogan who uses Skynet to get into its systems and kill Connor using a human decked Skynet.
Marcus is revived by Skynet during a last ditch recovery and helps Connor and the others in a fight against Parnell and the other terminators that have turned.
Both of them fight until both win .
