Name:Marcus Wright
Age:33 (All the time)
Series Terminator: Salvation: Final Battle
Canon Point: Leading the Human Resistance against Parnell’s bloody terminators
Personality:
Marcus is prone to emotional, mostly violent outbursts at the very mention of his brother or anyone else he killed. Once he has something in his mind, nothing will distract him from doing what he is going to do. Not even obstacles stand in his way. His intentions are clear from the start. He is loyal to a select few and betrayal hurts him more than most. Starting a fight with Marcus will often take a bad turn as he will not stop fights until a friend tells him to. He does have good intentions and justice influences him.
Please describe your character's sins and how they influence them:
Marcus is guilty of
Murder: He has killed three people including his own brother accidently. The other two are cops that got killed during a carjacking. He paid for that sin with his own life by being executed in prison.
Robbery: Robbing various stores and cars over time including carjacking.
Lust: For the woman he loved over the years, Marcus has a partway caring relationship with Blair Williams, but it might be a lust for a woman who cared for him over the years.
Anger: Marcus takes out his anger on anyone who even mentions his brother and will get close to wrath.
Abilities:
Marcus is a Marksman. He knows how to handle a gun properly and turn it against the most experienced of gun users.
Marcus also has a talent with anything mechanical. He loves cars and it shows in his ability to drive them and fix them with skill.
Marcus is a hybrid mix of terminator and human. He has double the strength he usually has as a human being.
Ideas:
Marcus feeling the pain of those he killed or let down in his life.
Sample:
From Boomtown
Marcus had distracted his mind lately here in New Dodge, mainly by working on broken down metallic items like radios and motorcycles and various car parts. Here, nobody would care if he was a criminal in his past, and that he died twice to save John Connor.
His latest fix was that of a old radio in New Dodge.
He sat on his bed, taking a few tools and tinkering with the wiring in the back of the radio until the radio started to pick up some hints of music coming out.
“Heh, thought this might need a tune up.”
Marcus’s mood was a little bit better as he gave the radio a place in the Saloon of New Dodge for a little music while times were rough.
While the music played in the saloon, it gave Marcus valuable time to think about past events. He had somehow been brought back to life again, and it was strange, but at least he was still alive.
He had felt guilty for everything he did wrong in his past life, and was willing to make up for it, by making New Dodge a little better than what his world’s condition was in.
Of course, Rooster played on the radio while Marcus held back the urge to turn it to another song over time. It represented a past time in Marcus’s life he didn’t care to mention.
Marcus found himself slumping on the bar for what seemed like a second as he had a lot on his mind for the time being.
What would become of John’s life after he’s a terminator. Maybe Kate would know, who can tell?
Someday he would watch all of the others pass, while he lived in a immortal terminator body, almost a curse and a blessing to watch others die while he lived.
Another sample from Boomtown:
Day 10: Something different
Dear Blair,
I’m sorry that I have to leave our world for a while. Things had come up and it just seemed like my time to help out another place. I’ll be back in 6 months, hopefully if things go well. Watch over the others like I did as the city gets rebuilt as I know you will do.
Tell John I’ll be back later but I am not dead. The war is over and I’d like it to stay that way so all of us can relax.
If everyone remembers, John’s death was not in vain. Keep that in vain.
I’m in this place called New Dodge and hopefully someday you can come as well, you know I’ll miss you.
Oh, if you see Kyle and Star, give them advanced warning I’ll be back in a short while. I hate to see them worry.
